Ron Thiess Bio

“The Johnny Appleseed” of Welding and Inspection in real life is one Ron Theiss. Little is known of his early life, but he apparently received a good education which helped him in years to follow. By the time he was 28 years old he was already a full professor at a nearby college teaching Inspection and NDE, already planting seeds of knowledge in others. His manner of operation has always been simple. He went into the classroom and found a likely student to share his knowledge and wisdom with. Somewhere, somehow, he caught a vision of the United States blossoming CWI’s, class after class, city after city, state after state of carefully nurtured students giving promise to the inspection world. Willingly he endures the hardships of classroom training as he works to make his dream come true. His sturdy young CWI’s lightened the hearts and lifted the spirits of many construction and fabrication workers. Ron is married and is always thankful for his nurse, friend and wife Julie.

When all is said and done Ron Theiss is the real “AMERICAN WELDER”
