Jessie L. Rosier Bio

Jessie has been involved in the welding environment most of his life as both his father and grandfather were welders. He entered the workforce as a welder in 1994 at Vulcraft (division of Nucor Steel) and has been involved in the industry in some form or fashion ever since (Eagle Railcar, BAE Systems, LeTourneau Technologies, DOYLES).
Mr. Rosier started as an entry level welder and progressed to a certified/lead welder, and currently holds the position of a Quality Inspector for Turner Industries within the Shell Plant in Deer Park, Texas. He obtained his Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification in September 2009.
He joined the American Welding Society Houston Chapter in March 2008 and has enjoyed attending meetings, and meeting new friends and colleagues. He also has had the pleasure in assisting in the two High School Welder Qualification days the AWS Houston Chapter sponsored in Huntsville and Pearland this past May of 2009. Jessie looks forward to taking part in the AWS Houston Chapter, serving on the Hospitality Committee this year and eager to assist with any other functions as needed
